General Laurent NkundaObreiro leigo licenciado na Igreja Adventista do Sétimo Dia, comanda 6000 dissidentes armados no Congo. — Garante já ter convertido todo o seu exército! A Conferência Geral diz que “não é membro ativo”, aproveitando-se da circunstância de que o general está no comando de uma guerrilha, fazendo um bom tempo que não aparece na sua igreja. A imprensa internacional é unânime ao identificar o general Laurent como um membro e pregador leigo da Igreja Adventista. Não se pode crer tudo o que dizem dele, nem bem, e nem mal. Ele é da tribo Tutsi, e diz querer evitar um novo “abril de 1995” no Congo. A tribo Tutsi não tem fronteira e está espalhada por vários paises. A Conferência Geral da Igreja Adventista do Sétimo Dia tem sempre como a primeira preocupação “lavar as mãos”, como fez no massacre de Rwanda. Ao afirmar que o general não é “membro ativo” prefere ficar com um pé na verdade e outro na mentira. Deveria apenas dizer que, embora seja membro da igreja Adventista, as suas ações não são controladas pela organização e nem representam o pensamento e política pacifista da igreja. — Não precisa como sempre faz, assumir a tutela do membro da igreja! No caso do pastor Elizaphan Ntakirutimana e Conferência Geral se portou de forma vergonhosa! Enquanto a Igreja Anglicana de início assumiu toda a responsabilidade, e o supremo dirigente Carrey foi pessoalmente a Rwanda instalar uma comissão de investigação, Folkenberg foi à Tanzânia se informar com o presidente da união. Quando um juiz de Laredo mandou soltar o pastor Elizapham, a Conferência Geral pelo website declarou que “sabia que o pastor era inocente”. — A administração deixou o pastor Elizaphan ainda mais um ano no cargo, e tudo o que fez foi mandar uma comissão a Laredo (Texas) perguntar ao pastor o que tinha acontecido. (o pastor quando foi denunciado por grupos de direitos humanos, fugiu para o Texas, onde tem um filho médico). Um diretor da Conferência Geral disse a Ennis Meier: – “Ele nega tudo, mas os adventistas do local dizem que viram o pastor de óculos escuros na viatura dos guerrilheiros, mostrando o caminho da casa dos irmãos da igreja.” — Ficavam de tocaia, esperando que os adventistas escondidos nas montanhas viessem buscar comida em suas roças, quando eram mortos como ratos. O próprio pastor Elizapham autorizou os guerrilheiros derrubarem o forro de uma igreja onde havia adventistas escondidos, e foram todos mortos.

Geléias de morango são boas opções
Testamos 14 doces e encontramos um com sabor ruim, outro com fraude na receita. Geléias costumam ser apreciadas pelos brasileiros, especialmente a de morango, alvo de mais um teste alimentar da PRO TESTE. Felizmente, não houve grandes problemas nos produtos examinados. Dos 14 avaliadas, 11 foram pelo menos bons, o que mostra ser possível confiar na qualidade da geléia. Apenas a marca Superbom terminou como ruim na avaliação final porque tinha amido em sua composição, o que denota fraude. A Fazenda & Casa foi a outra marca que destoou por não agradar na degustação.
No final, não faltam boas opções de compra para você. A Fugini acumulou os títulos de o melhor do teste e a escolha certa. Já a Great Value, por também apresentar uma boa relação qualidade-preço, recebeu igualmente o título de a escolha certa. As geléias Cêpera, Fugini, Great Value e Purifruti se destacaram por ter os preços mais baixos. E o produto mais bem avaliado foi justamente o que apresentou o menor preço de todos, o Fugini, que chegou a ser encontrado por R$ 2,35.

Guiados por Deus?

Crises e escândalos que balançaram a IASD

A Igreja Adventista passou por inúmeras crises, sendo a mais recente a renúncia do Presidente da Conferência Geral, Roberto S. Folkenberg.

O escândalo mais recente foi do Pastor Elizaphan Ntakirutimana e do seu filho, médico da ADRA, condenados por um Tribunal da ONU pela responsabilidade direta na morte de mais de mil adventistas em Ruanda.

Nenhuma dessas crises ou escândalos são lembrados por mais que 2 anos e logo ficam apagados no tempo.

Conradi quando denunciou as cópias de Ellen White, no princípio do século vinte, sacudiu a IASD por ter sido um destacado administrador, mas logo se tornou um pastor batista e com isso ajudou a sarar a ferida.

O livro do pastor e professor Walter Rea – White Lie – ocasionou mais danos à IASD que os adventistas do Brasil tiveram notícia. O livro não foi traduzido para outras línguas e os seus efeitos ficaram circunscritos aos Estados Unidos, onde milhares de adventistas abandonaram a igreja e a administração passou por uma grave crise financeira.

Tenho um jornal de Washington que reporta em meia página, a desolação nas igrejas Adventistas da região e a profunda crise financeira por que passava a IASD.

Foi nessa ocasião que a Conferência Geral parou de exportar missionários, e o fluxo do dinheiro mudou de sentido. Hoje o dinheiro do dízimo recolhido em todo o mundo, termina nas divisões e na Conferência Geral.

(não tem lógica, uma igreja pobre do interior do Brasil, estar também contribuindo para o orçamento milionário da Conferência Geral — antes a Conferência Geral juntava dinheiro nas igrejas ricas da América e mandava para essa igrejinha pobre do interior do Brasil).

Em menor grau, a Internet fez reviver essa crise, porém sem a força das gravuras do livro, o impacto ficou diluído. Hoje a crise evoluiu para um descrédito crônico e generalizado de Ellen White.

Se a questão da Trindade tem potencial para gerar uma formidável polêmica na IASD, há que se lembrar que essa discussão tem quase 1600 anos.

A capacidade de sofismar do homem resiste a qualquer argumento, e não é a discussão desse mérito que levaria a IASD a uma nova crise.

No máximo irá levar a IASD a uma prolongada agitação, como gosta definir Ted Neal Wilson.

Uma tal crise, nunca vai contagiar uma substancial maioria adventista que prefere sempre ignorar a tempestade, e enterrar a sua cabeça na areia.

Porém, é justamente na questão da mudança onde aparecem ingredientes novos, que desacreditam irremediavelmente a administração, e faz os adventistas se sentirem enganados por seus guias.

A perda da confiança na administração da igreja, desta vez não se limita a uma crise transitória, mas o que se vê é um alicerce em ruínas.

A administração da Igreja Adventista que se diz “guiada por Deus” vai ter muita dificuldade em convencer, quando ela mesma esteve mais de 100 anos vagando nas trevas e sem conhecer “a verdade da Trindade”.

Em menos de 2 anos, muitos grupos dissidentes estão surgindo na igreja Adventista, (leigos) e parece ser um processo que veio para continuar indefinidamente.

– Solo Cristus Deo Crucis –

Geralmente, esta pergunta tem outra forma: Quais são as características da verdadeira igreja? A igreja Adventista do sétimo dia, por exemplo, em seu evangelismo costuma usar esta pergunta para promover suas doutrinas particulares. No entanto, perguntar pelas características é algo equivocado. Jesus não profetizou que nos últimos dias levantar-se-iam “falsas igrejas” senão “falsos Cristos”. A verdadeira igreja cristã não se define a partir de suas características, senão de seu Cristo. Se seu Cristo é o verdadeiro Cristo, será a igreja verdadeira. Se seu Cristo é um “falso Cristo”, será uma igreja falsa. Conheceremos as igrejas que não têm a verdade por seus falsos cristos. Portanto, a pergunta “qual é a verdadeira igreja?” responde-se à luz de seu Cristo e não das “doutrinas particulares” de dita igreja.

Para estabelecer sua igreja Cristo perguntou a seus discípulos: “Quem dizeis que eu sou?”

13Indo Jesus para os lados de Cesaréia de Filipe, perguntou a seus discípulos: Quem diz o povo ser o Filho do Homem? 14E eles responderam: Uns dizem: João Batista; outros: Elias; e outros: Jeremias ou algum dos profetas. 15Mas vós, continuou ele, quem dizeis que eu sou? 16 Respondendo Simão Pedro, disse: Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo. 17Então, Jesus lhe afirmou: Bem-aventurado és, Simão Barjonas, porque não foi carne e sangue que to revelaram, mas meu Pai, que está nos céus. 18Também eu te digo que tu és Pedro, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja, e as portas do inferno não prevalecerão contra ela. 19Dar-te-ei as chaves do reino dos céus; o que ligares na terra terá sido ligado nos céus; e o que desligares na terra terá sido desligado nos céus. 20 Então, advertiu os discípulos de que a ninguém dissessem ser ele o Cristo. 21Desde esse tempo, começou Jesus Cristo a mostrar a seus discípulos que lhe era necessário seguir para Jerusalém e sofrer muitas coisas dos anciãos, dos principais sacerdotes e dos escribas, ser morto e ressuscitado no terceiro dia. 22E Pedro, chamando-o à parte, começou a reprová-lo, dizendo: Tem compaixão de ti, Senhor; isso de modo algum te acontecerá. 23Mas Jesus, voltando-se, disse a Pedro: Arreda, Satanás! Tu és para mim pedra de tropeço, porque não cogitas das coisas de Deus, e sim das dos homens.” (Mateus 16:13-23).

Quando Cristo estabeleceu sua igreja, Ele o fez dirigindo a pergunta cristológica a seus discípulos: “Quem diz o povo ser o Filho do Homem?” A resposta dos discípulos denunciou uma confusão entre as pessoas que o seguiam no tocante à identidade de sua pessoa. “E eles responderam: Uns dizem: João Batista; outros: Elias; e outros: Jeremias ou algum dos profetas” (Mateus 16:13, 14). Hoje, diríamos que tinham uma cristologia confusa e equivocada. Confundiram a identidade de Jesus com a identidade de outras personagens bíblicas. Trataram de fundir ou fusionar a identidade de Cristo Jesus com a identidade de outros líderes religiosos. Cristo previu que seus discípulos ao longo da história também tratariam de confundir e amoldar sua identidade com alguma outra personagem. Cristo quis que seus discípulos se dessem conta que sua identidade era única e que não podia misturar-se, combinar-se ou, de nenhuma outra maneira, amalgamar-se com nenhuma outra personagem ou líder bíblico. Cristo disse que esta falsificação de sua pessoa com a de outros mensageiros chegaria a enganar, ainda se fosse possível, aos escolhidos (Mateus 24:24). Em outras palavras, o engano dos falsos Cristos com seus falsos profetas estaria na aparente semelhança que teria o falso Cristo com a identidade do verdadeiro Cristo. A identidade e mensagem do verdadeiro Cristo estariam misturadas com a identidade e mensagem de verdadeiros mensageiros bíblicos. Esta combinação da identidade de Cristo, o “único” em quem Deus toma complacência, com a de outros profetas, ainda que fossem verdadeiros, resultaria num falso Cristo. Por isso advertiu Cristo que estes falsos profetas seriam tão astutos na arte do roubo da identidade do verdadeiro Cristo, que enganariam, se fosse possível, ainda aos escolhidos.

Quando seus discípulos o confundiram com João (o Batista), Elias, Jeremias ou algum dos profetas, Cristo não aceitou nenhuma dessas identidades. Recusou-as e insistiu que lhe dessem uma resposta acertada. Ainda quando parecia que Pedro, finalmente, tinha acertado com a resposta, Pedro também não a acertou cabalmente e Jesus teve que o corrigir fortemente.

Todas as respostas dadas pelos discípulos se repetem hoje na voz das diferentes igrejas cristãs e na variedade de suas mensagens. Em outras palavras, a igreja cristã ainda se debate quanto a quem é o verdadeiro Cristo. Alguns seguem pensando que Cristo é a reencarnação das mensagens de João (o Batista), de Elias, outros de Jeremias ou de algum dos profetas.

O Cristo Identificado com João, o Batista

Este é o Cristo que, igualmente a João, o Batista, denuncia publicamente o pecado alheio tentando provocar o pecador para o arrependimento. Apesar de que se batizam no nome de Jesus, os que são batizados por causa da mensagem do arrependimento são realmente batizados no batismo de João. Neste batismo o penitente anuncia sua intenção de mudar sua vida a fim começar uma nova que dará “…frutos dignos de arrependimento” (Mateus 3:8). Segundo este Cristo, o batismo os limpa pelos pecados passados e sua decisão de se batizar os impulsiona a pactuar com Deus a viver dali em adiante uma nova vida reta e abnegada, para sempre jamais livre de todo pecado.

De quando em quando este Cristo se anuncia como o Cordeiro de Deus que tira o pecado do mundo, semelhantemente ao que João anunciou ao Cristo. No entanto, a mensagem de Cristo como o Cordeiro de Deus fica turvada e correlacionada com a mensagem da abnegação e sacrifício, e os muitos frutos que ainda se devem colher da árvore do arrependimento.

Este Cristo, também, do mesmo modo que João, o Batista, anuncia a preparação para a vinda do Senhor, prega que 5Todo vale será aterrado, e nivelados todos os montes e outeiros; os caminhos tortuosos serão retificados, e os escabrosos, aplanados; 6e toda carne verá a salvação de Deus. Todo o vale se encherá, E se abaixará todo o monte e outeiro; E o que é tortuoso se endireitará, E os caminhos escabrosos se aplanarão; E toda a carne verá a salvação de Deus.” (Lucas 3:5,6). Este Cristo anuncia sua segunda vinda assim como João, o Batista anunciava sua primeira vinda. O evangelho deste Cristo é sua segunda vinda. A salvação que este Cristo oferece é mediante sua breve volta em todo poder e glória. Portanto, a salvação que este Cristo oferece está por vir, não é uma salvação que se tenha consumado. Este Cristo chama a que os pecadores tenham a atenção posta nos sinais que anunciam o fim do mundo e sua vinda para salvação dos pecadores que se arrependam. Este Cristo não exclama de sua missão redentora “…Está consumado…” (João 19:30), senão “Cedo todas as coisas ficarão consumadas”. Esta mensagem, com freqüência, prega-se com toda aparência de fervor, mas negando a eficácia da cruz.

Não obstante, Cristo diante de seus discípulos não se identificou com João, o Batista, nem sua mensagem. Quando os discípulos lhe disseram que alguns o confundiam com João, o Batista, Cristo não respondeu que em parte tinham razão, que essa mensagem era parte de sua mensagem, mas não toda sua mensagem. Quando os discípulos lhe disseram que as pessoas diziam que Ele era João, o Batista, Cristo desconheceu a mensagem de João, o Batista como a sua. As Escrituras dizem escassamente “Ele não era a luz, mas veio para que testificasse da luz” (João 1:8). De Jesus, o Verbo de Deus, as Escrituras dizem, “a saber, a verdadeira luz, que, vinda ao mundo, ilumina a todo homem.” (João 1:9). Por mais que João, o Batista, “testificasse a respeito da luz” (João 1:7), ele não era a luz verdadeira. O refletor, por mais perfeitamente que reflita a luz, não é a luz verdadeira. Cristo não se confundiu com seu refletor.

O Cristo Identificado Com o Profeta Elias

Este Cristo também se encontra nas igrejas cristãs. É o Cristo dos milagres. É o Cristo que faz cair fogo do céu, que ressuscita mortos, que castiga o pecado com sinais e milagres. É o Cristo da oração, e a oração pode muito, até deter a chuva ou que chova a torrentes após a seca. É o Cristo que tudo resolve em algumas igrejas cristãs com vigílias, orações, jejuns, línguas, testemunhos, profecias de assuntos ocultos e segredos, privados e públicos, previdências espetaculares, muletas e cadeiras de rodas eliminadas, lenços benditos, águas benditas, mantas benditas, altares, amuletos e muitos outros sinais acompanham ao Cristo confundido com Elias. Também pregam a restauração das relações na família, citando a Malaquias 4:5,6 que nos últimos dias enviaria a Elias para converter “…o coração dos pais aos filhos e o coração dos filhos a seus pais…”. No entanto, esta pregação, não obstante sua nobre intenção, carece da pregação da cruz como fundamento.

Em nenhum momento Cristo se deu a conhecer como o Cristo segundo o profeta Elias. Em outra ocasião, quando perguntaram a Jesus se Ele era Elias, Jesus respondeu sumariamente: “Não” (João 1:21).

O Cristo Identificado Com o Profeta Jeremias

Do mesmo modo que confundiram a Cristo com o profeta Jeremias no tempo de Jesus, assim este Cristo se faz presente em algumas igrejas cristãs.

Este é o Cristo que chora pelos pecados do povo de Deus. Este Cristo profetiza que horríveis e terríveis coisas estão por vir sobre o povo de Deus e a todo pecador em pagamento por seus pecados e desobediência.

Este Cristo chora pela triste condição da juventude: imoralidade, delinqüência, uso de drogas, sexo fora do casamento. Chora pelos pecados dos casais, do adultério, da fornicação e muitas outras perversões. Este Cristo se escuta pregando nas igrejas de todas as faltas cometidas e por cometer do povo de Deus. Ninguém fica de fora: os meninos, jovens, adultos, idosos, homens, mulheres, a moda, a bebida, os vícios, a sociedade, as obras injustas. Este Cristo se lamenta pelo aquecimento global e culpa a governantes, empresários, incrédulos e crentes de igual maneira. O mundo, segundo este Cristo, somente pode estar pior. Os que se salvam são aqueles que unem seu lamento ao desse Cristo, denunciando, acusando e vaticinando as mais horrendas calamidades ao povo de Deus e a todos em geral por seus pecados.

Mas Cristo em nenhum momento identificou-se com o profeta Jeremias.

O Cristo Identificado Com “Algum dos Profetas”

O Cristo Identificado Com o Profeta Moisés

Quando Jesus abasteceu a uma grande multidão, multiplicando os pães e os peixes, as pessoas o confundiram com Moisés.

14Vendo, pois, os homens o sinal que Jesus fizera, disseram: Este é, verdadeiramente, o profeta que devia vir ao mundo. 15Sabendo, pois, Jesus que estavam para vir com o intuito de arrebatá-lo para o proclamarem rei, retirou-se novamente, sozinho, para o monte..” (João 6:14-15).

Entendia-se, entre os israelitas do tempo de Jesus, que “o Profeta” designava a Moisés, em cumprimento de sua mesma profecia.

“O SENHOR, teu Deus, te suscitará um profeta do meio de ti, de teus irmãos, semelhante a mim; a ele ouvirás.” (Deuteronômio 18:15).

“Suscitar-lhes-ei um profeta do meio de seus irmãos, semelhante a ti, em cuja boca porei as minhas palavras, e ele lhes falará tudo o que eu lhe ordenar.” (Deuteronômio 18:18).

Confundir a Cristo com Moisés era uma proposta sumamente atraente para os israelitas. Cristo como “o Profeta” parecia ser um Moisés bem mais tolerante que o caudilho de outrora. Jesus de Nazaré interpretava a lei de uma maneira bem mais benigna e justa que as interpretações tradicionais dos escribas e dos fariseus. De fato, Jesus até quebrantava o sábado curando aos doentes e permitindo tarefas diárias como levar uma cama e colher alimento do campo. As interpretações da lei que Jesus dava não surgiam para favorecer aos líderes religiosos de seu tempo, nem também para os ganhos financeiros do templo. Sua interpretação da lei ia para além das ações penetrando até os pensamentos. No entanto, Jesus curava e perdoava os cegos, surdos, coxos, paralíticos, publicanos e prostitutas, todas as pessoas que tinham sido condenadas pelos religiosos de seu dia.

Devido a que o povo sofria sob o jugo romano e desejava libertação política e social, confundia a Jesus com “o Profeta” predito por Moisés que seria levantado para libertar a Israel da opressão do Egito.

Viam a Jesus como um grande caudilho, um grande líder, de imenso poder. A partir da multiplicação dos cinco pães e os dois peixes, podiam ver que ele, igualmente a Moisés, podia alimentá-los e suprir suas necessidades básicas, como o tinha feito Moisés com o maná que caía do céu.

No entanto, Cristo recusou a que se lhe confundisse com o caudilho Moisés. Após o milagre da multiplicação dos pães e dos peixes, deu-lhe as costas à oportunidade de se apresentar como o Cristo segundo Moisés.

11Então, Jesus tomou os pães e, tendo dado graças, distribuiu-os entre eles; e também igualmente os peixes, quanto queriam. 12E, quando já estavam fartos, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos: Recolhei os pedaços que sobraram, para que nada se perca. 13Assim, pois, o fizeram e encheram doze cestos de pedaços dos cinco pães de cevada, que sobraram aos que haviam comido. 14Vendo, pois, os homens o sinal que Jesus fizera, disseram: Este é, verdadeiramente, o profeta que devia vir ao mundo. 15Sabendo, pois, Jesus que estavam para vir com o intuito de arrebatá-lo para o proclamarem rei, retirou-se novamente, sozinho, para o monte.” (João 6:11-15).

Por outra parte, os líderes judaicos não participavam dessa confusão. Eles compreendiam claramente que Jesus não era nenhum Moisés. De fato, eles acusavam a Cristo de se opor a Moisés. Escribas e fariseus consideravam-se discípulos de Moisés. Na conversa com o cego de nascimento que Jesus curou, os líderes judaicos deixaram claro que não havia confusão alguma em suas mentes entre Moisés e Jesus.

“…28Então, o injuriaram e lhe disseram: Discípulo dele és tu; mas nós somos discípulos de Moisés. 29Sabemos que Deus falou a Moisés; mas este nem sabemos donde é..” (João 9:28-29).

Eles viam a Jesus como uma ameaça ao sistema judaico que eles controlavam e manipulavam. Controlavam ao povo mediante um sofisticado moralismo fundamentado na lei de Moisés. Eles se criam os guardiões da lei. Para toda situação tinham um pronunciamento moral, ético e fundamentado sobre os Dez Mandamentos. Eles criticavam a Jesus porque Jesus não falava nem se comportava de uma maneira conforme com suas práticas discriminatórias que recusavam ao pecado e pecador por igual. Sustentavam a observância do sábado como o sinal do povo de Israel e, rigorosamente, denunciavam ao que quebrantava no sábado. Eles de jeito nenhum identificavam a Jesus de Nazaré com Moisés e muito menos como o Messias. Viam a Jesus como rebelde e revolucionário que apresentava uma justiça maior à lei de Moisés que eles tanto defendiam.

No entanto, hoje as coisas mudaram. Dentro da igreja cristã também existe um Cristo identificado com Moisés, o Moralista. Este é outro falso Cristo.

Este é o Cristo da igreja cristã que se distingue por seus grandes enunciados moralistas. Estas igrejas – sem distinção de nomes – são conhecidas por seus pronunciamentos éticos que propõem atingir toda ação humana privada e social. De tal modo que em alguns países se conhece o cristianismo hoje somente por suas grandes posições morais que objetam e protestam antes de tudo: desde a investigação do uso das células-tronco até a categórica condenação do homossexualismo; desde a imigração indocumentada até o aborto por todas as causas e razões; este Cristo fundamentalista apóia as guerras contra os países não cristãos, o uso da força e a violência militar para proteger seu patrimônio cristão. Tudo se faz em nome de Cristo, o Moralista, o novo Moisés. Estas posições cristológicas se apóiam sempre nos 10 Mandamentos interpretados diversamente, mas não obstante vigentes, regentes e, também, controlados por uma cúria ou pastorado manipulando os regulamentos à conveniência do poderio do sistema.

Mas, Cristo em nenhum momento identificou-se com o profeta Moisés, nem com Moisés o Caudilho, nem com Moisés o Moralista. Pois bem, segundo pela palavra inspirada de Jesus, “Porque a lei foi dada por intermédio de Moisés; a graça e a verdade vieram por meio de Jesus Cristo. Porque a lei foi dada por Moisés; a graça e a verdade vieram por Jesus Cristo.” (João 1:17). A lei – toda a Torá – não continha essa dinâmica, que só se encontrava em Jesus: “graça e verdade”.

Em outra ocasião o mesmo Jesus ressaltou em relevo o contraste entre ele e Moisés.

32…não foi Moisés quem vos deu o pão do céu…”. “35…Eu sou o pão da vida; o que vem a mim jamais terá fome; e o que crê em mim jamais terá sede…”. “36Porém eu já vos disse que, embora me tenhais visto, não credes…” “40De fato, a vontade de meu Pai é que todo homem que vir o Filho e nele crer tenha a vida eterna…”. (João 6:32,35,36,40).

Há que se captar o impacto das palavras de Jesus e a razão pela qual ofendiam aos líderes judaicos. Jesus estava a lhes dizer que tudo o que Moisés lhes deu não era pão da vida. Nada do que tinham recebido de Moisés saciava a fome nem a sede e muito menos dava vida eterna. A vida eterna está em ver ao Filho e não a Moisés!

Moisés (representando ao Cristo dos Dez Mandamentos) e Elias (representando à condenação dos profetas por quebrantar a lei) desaparecem no Monte da Transfiguração. Só Cristo permanece representando a “graça e a verdade” e ouve-se a voz do Pai que retumba, “…Este é o meu Filho amado, em quem me comprazo; a ele ouvi.” (Mateus 17:5-8).

A identidade de Cristo se apresenta sozinha sem a ajuda de Moisés ou Elias, para salvação de todo pecador.

Portanto, quando Jesus estava por estabelecer sua igreja, perguntou: “Quem diz o povo ser o Filho do Homem?” (Mateus 16:13). Com esta pergunta, Ele estava assumindo o título da personagem em Daniel 7:13,14. Esta personagem é o Messias que recebe o reino e seu aspecto é “como o Filho do Homem”.

13Eu estava olhando nas minhas visões da noite, e eis que vinha com as nuvens do céu um como o Filho do Homem, e dirigiu-se ao Ancião de Dias, e o fizeram chegar até ele. 14Foi-lhe dado domínio, e glória, e o reino, para que os povos, nações e homens de todas as línguas o servissem; o seu domínio é domínio eterno, que não passará, e o seu reino jamais será destruído..” (Daniel 7:13-14).

A pergunta que Jesus dirige a seus discípulos não perde valor devido porque Ele usou a frase “Filho do Homem”. Pois bem, ao usar este termo na pergunta Jesus se atribui o título do Messias que encontramos em Daniel 7:13, com ênfase em sua natureza humana: “O Filho do Homem”. As respostas que os discípulos tinham dado o confundiam com outros profetas. Ele não quer confusões. Ele quer que lhe digam “Quem é o Filho do Homem?” Eles estão equivocados quando dizem que ele é algum dos profetas, pois nenhum dos profetas se tinha anunciado como o Messias. Ele, sim, apresenta-se como “O Filho do Homem”, o Messias Ungido de Deus para dar perdão a Israel e salvação a todas as nações.

Em Mateus 16:13-15 Jesus desconhece todas as respostas que o confundiam com outros profetas, e dirige a pergunta diretamente aos discípulos, “15Mas vós, continuou ele, quem dizeis que eu sou?

Simão Pedro tinha antecipado a pergunta e adianta a resposta: “Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.” (v. 16).

O surpreendente da resposta de Pedro estava em reconhecer que o Cristo seria um ser divino e não somente humano. Os judeus pensavam que ainda que o Messias tivesse poderes sobrenaturais não seria um ser divino, porque Deus era um e não poderia haver mais que somente o Deus de Israel.

A resposta de Pedro era radical porque superava todo o pensamento rabínico de seu dia. Declarar que o Cristo era o “Filho do Deus vivo”, era declarar que Jesus de Nazaré, em função de Messias (o Cristo), era da mesma substância do divino, Deus, por razão de ser seu Filho. Essa maneira de pensar se sobrepunha a centenas de anos de teologia rabínica, de tradições, de crenças fundamentais, de todas as principais correntes do pensamento de seu dia. Essa maneira de pensar é a mesma que precisamos hoje para reconhecer a missão da igreja à luz da identidade de Cristo.

No entanto, Jesus imediatamente esclareceu que a declaração de Pedro não vinha de seu pensamento, de sua investigação teológica, de sua vida de oração, de sua leitura da Tora, dos salmos ou dos profetas, nem ainda de sua fé.

17Então, Jesus lhe afirmou: Bem-aventurado és, Simão Barjonas, porque não foi carne e sangue que to revelaram, mas meu Pai, que está nos céus.” (Mateus 16:17).

O Pai revelou a Pedro que seu Filho era Jesus de Nazaré e que era um ser divino, da mesma essência do Deus único de Israel.

Mas, o Pai não revelou tudo a Pedro. O Pai deixou a maior e melhor revelação no Filho de quem o mesmo Pai disse: “…O TEU TRONO, Ó DEUS, É PARA TODO O SEMPRE…” (Hebreus 1:8). Jesus, o Filho do Deus vivo daria a plena revelação da identidade do Messias, do Cristo Ungido para a salvação dos pecadores.

A cristologia cristã errou porque se deteve na revelação da natureza dual de Jesus como o Messias: que Jesus era plenamente humano e plenamente divino.

Quanto à natureza de Jesus como o Cristo, a cristandade recebeu somente a revelação do Pai e não do Filho no tocante à identidade de Jesus de Nazaré.

O cristianismo cometeu o mesmo erro que cometeu Pedro pouco depois que declarou – mediante revelação do Pai – que Jesus era o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.

Pedro se deteve com a revelação de que Jesus, além de ser humano, também era plenamente divino. Quando lhe chegou a plena revelação do que significava a divindade de Cristo, Pedro a recusou, não a quis receber, e até repreendeu a Jesus por se dar a conhecer em sua plena natureza divina.

Pedro, a princípio, não reconheceu o pleno alcance de sua declaração de que Jesus era o Filho do Deus vivo. Não foi senão até após a ressurreição de Jesus, quando Pedro acreditou que deveras tinha entendido qual era a verdadeira natureza de Jesus como o Cristo de Deus.

Jesus revelou uma verdade maior no tocante à divindade de sua pessoa. Jesus de Nazaré, Filho do Homem, é o Cristus Deo Crucis. Jesus é Deus Crucificado para ser nosso Cristo, nosso Messias, nosso Redentor.

A verdadeira cristologia é só e exclusivamente Cristus Deo Crucis. A única razão pela qual a Pessoa de Cristo tem duas naturezas é precisamente em função da missão messiânica de Jesus de Nazaré: O Cristo crucificado como Filho do Homem é Deus mesmo derramando seu sangue para remissão de nossos pecados. É aqui precisamente quando a cristologia chega a seu ponto final como tema acadêmico e pode se expressar somente em termos confessionais: Jesus de Nazaré, plenamente homem e plenamente Deus morreu na cruz derramando seu sangue para me dar pleno perdão por todos os meus pecados. Deus mesmo, por seu magno amor, sofreu numa cruenta cruz para o perdão de meus pecados. O mesmo Messias tomou meu lugar na cruz fazendo-se pecado e em meu lugar sofreu a eterna separação de Deus em meu favor. Esse é o grande mistério do amor de Deus. Todo estudo e conhecimento cristológico está somente e categoricamente ao serviço de pregar a “…Jesus Cristo e este crucificado”. (1 Coríntios 2:2).

21Desde esse tempo, começou Jesus Cristo a mostrar a seus discípulos que lhe era necessário seguir para Jerusalém e sofrer muitas coisas dos anciãos, dos principais sacerdotes e dos escribas, ser morto e ressuscitado no terceiro dia.” “…para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate por muitos.” (Mateus 16:21; 20:28).

É muito lindo dizer que “Jesus é o divino Cristo para a salvação da humanidade”. Mas essa declaração tem um sentido rigorosamente Deo crucis.

Jesus elucida algo que “é necessário” que se cumpra em sua missão como o Cristo, o Messias: sua morte na cruz “para dar sua vida em resgate por muitos”.

“É necessário” que a cristología da natureza humana e divina de Cristo seja entendida à luz da cruz na qual o Cristo morreu em expiação pelos pecados e o pecado da humanidade.

CRISTUS DEO CRUCIS: A PEDRA ANGULAR DA IGREJA DE CRISTO

Quando Pedro declarou em resposta à pergunta de Jesus, “E vós, quem dizeis que sou?”, Jesus respondeu:

18Também eu te digo que tu és Pedro, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja, e as portas do inferno não prevalecerão contra ela. 19Dar-te-ei as chaves do reino dos céus; o que ligares na terra terá sido ligado nos céus; e o que desligares na terra terá sido desligado nos céus. (Mateus 16:18-19).

Este texto tem sido polemizado ao longo da história da igreja cristã. A polêmica foi em torno da natureza de Pedro como líder da igreja.

Mas este texto não tem que ver com a natureza de Pedro.

Este texto tem que ver com a natureza divina do Cristo, Jesus de Nazaré, Filho do Homem, Filho de Deus!

Este texto tem sido mal interpretado como referente a Pedro. Mas o texto tem como referência a Jesus, o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo!

Este versículo é parte da resposta à pergunta de Cristo, 15Mas vós… quem dizeis que Eu sou?”. As palavras de Jesus “18Também eu te digo que tu és Pedro, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja…”, torna compreensível a resposta de Pedro “Tu És o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo”.

Jesus não tinha perguntado a seus discípulos, “Quem diz o povo ser Pedro?” As respostas que tinham dado os discípulos não tinham que ver com Pedro.

Nem também Jesus havia perguntado aos discípulos “E vós, quem dizem ser Pedro?”

Portanto, tudo o que Jesus diz com respeito a Pedro é para esclarecer a resposta que Pedro desse concernente à Sua divindade.

A Rocha não pode ser Pedro porque Pedro está por cometer um dos piores erros na cristologia cristã que, como veremos em breve, repete-se até hoje. Se Pedro fosse a rocha da igreja cristã, a igreja cristã estaria construída sobre a areia. Efetivamente, muitas das igrejas cristãs decidiram construir-se sobre Pedro em vez do Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo. O resultado é que não têm nada mais que oferecer que areia, e areia movediça. Mas, estamos a adiantar-nos em nosso tema.

A Rocha é a declaração que Pedro fez no tocante à natureza de Jesus: Jesus é o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.

Tão forte e segura é essa Rocha que “as portas do Hades” – da morte eterna – “não prevalecerão contra a igreja”. Pedro nem com sua vida nem com sua morte fez coisa alguma que pudesse dar tal garantia. Jesus está a falar da força de sua própria Pessoa como o Cristo e o sucesso de sua missão será tal que as portas da morte eterna, ainda que abrir-se-ão para enganar até os escolhidos como as portas da vida, não prevalecerão contra a igreja.

Mas, que significam as palavras de Cristo a Pedro, E eu te darei as chaves do reino dos céus; e tudo o que ligares na terra será ligado nos céus, e tudo o que desligares na terra será desligado nos céus?

No incidente que se segue, Cristo explica o significado da declaração de Pedro: “Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo”. Igualmente, esclarece o significado das palavras a Pedro que se lhe dariam as chaves do reino dos céus e que o que for unido ou atado na terra seria atado nos céus, e o separado na terra ficaria separado nos céus.

21Desde esse tempo, começou Jesus Cristo a mostrar a seus discípulos que lhe era necessário seguir para Jerusalém e sofrer muitas coisas dos anciãos, dos principais sacerdotes e dos escribas, ser morto e ressuscitado no terceiro dia. 22E Pedro, chamando-o à parte, começou a reprová-lo, dizendo: Tem compaixão de ti, Senhor; isso de modo algum te acontecerá. 23Mas Jesus, voltando-se, disse a Pedro: Arreda, Satanás! Tu és para mim pedra de tropeço, porque não cogitas das coisas de Deus, e sim das dos homens.”. (Mateus 16:13-23).

Atente nas palavras ditas a Pedro, referentes às chaves do reino e de atar e desatar, neste incidente, para entender a missão cristológica de Jesus.

A primeira questão está na pequena palavra grega “dei” que em espanhol se traduz “é necessário”. Nas línguas modernas (inglês, espanhol, português, francês, italiano) existe um adjetivo muito prático para expressar o imprescindível, o indispensável, o inevitável: “necessário”.

Mas não é assim no grego. Para dizer que alguém está comprometido com certa obra, que lhe é imprescindível fazer algo ou estar em algum lugar, singelamente se usa um derivado do verbo “atar” ou “unir”. Alguém está atado para realizar certa missão ou está unido a cumprir com verdadeiro compromisso. O sentido de obrigação sem escapatória vem do verbo “atar”. Em outras palavras, que alguém está atado ou unido a tal ou qual função. O verbo “atar” podia-se usar literalmente ou figurativamente, mas tal qual fosse o caso, significava um compromisso ou uma situação inevitável.

Quando Pedro diz a Jesus que Ele é “o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo”, Jesus passa a elucidar o significado dessa declaração. Jesus dizia a Pedro, Tua declaração que Eu sou o Messias noivo significa que, como o Cristo, estou atado à obra de salvação e livrarei essa batalha em favor de todo pecador na cruz!

A divindade de Cristo, cuja qual reconheceu Pedro, está inevitavelmente atada à cruz. Assim também sua humanidade está unida a levar os pecados de todo pecador na cruz. A cristologia está inquebrantavelmente atada a seu sacrifício na cruz para resgatar à humanidade do pecado e suas eternas conseqüências! Na cruz, a cristologia, a soteriologia e a eclesiologia encontram-se num ósculo santo que define a salvação da humanidade!

Desde esse momento Jesus anunciou sua morte – a partir de ser declarado o Divino Messias Ungido – três vezes. Na terceira, alumiou ainda mais sua missão de Messias, “…o Filho do Homem, que não veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate por muitos.” (Mateus 20:28). De fato, quando Jesus esclareceu sua missão de ir à cruz como o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo, advertiu-lhes “…que a ninguém dissessem ser ele o Cristo.” (Mateus 16:20). Por que esta advertência? Para que não pudessem ter oferecido obstáculo em seu caminho para o Calvário e a cruz. “Era necessário” que ele como o Cristo de Deus, derramasse seu sangue em resgate de todo pecador.

Jesus deu toda sua vida, sua vida e sua morte em resgate. A totalidade de sua vida. Vida por vida, morte por morte. Alguns pensam que só a morte de Cristo é substitutiva. Toda a Pessoa de Cristo, em sua vida e em sua morte se dá em resgate. Pede-se sua vida e pede-se sua morte. Todo o ser de Cristo, incluindo sua divindade, toma o lugar de todo pecador. A vida do perfeito amor de Cristo Jesus pela vida de concupiscência de todo pecador; sua morte tendo sido feito pecado substituindo a merecida morte de todo pecador. Bem como a natureza dual de Cristo é indivisível, assim também sua substituição em favor do pecador é indivisível. A Pessoa de Cristo é uma unidade em sua natureza, assim também como em sua função como nosso Redentor e Suplente. Não podemos dividir sua natureza humana de sua divina. Também não podemos dividir sua substituição em favor do pecador somente na morte. Sua substituição é também em sua vida de obediência em nosso favor. Cristo na totalidade de sua vida de perfeito amor e sua morte de amor pelos pecadores, é nosso Substituto e Redentor.

Jesus Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo, é o Homem forte que entra na casa do valente e saqueia-lhe seu poderio, seu poderio da morte, para que “…livrasse todos que, pelo pavor da morte, estavam sujeitos à escravidão por toda a vida.” (Hebreus 2:15).

Devido a que Jesus Cristo na cruz despojou ao diabo de seu poderio sobre o pecado e a morte, as portas do Hades (as portas da morte eterna) não podem prevalecer contra a igreja. Para os que crêem em Jesus Cristo, o Jesus Messias Ungido, Filho do Deus vivo, a morte como castigo do pecado não pode prevalecer contra eles. E eles são sua igreja. Os eximidos por seu sangue são sua igreja. Sua igreja são “…os que vêm da grande tribulação, lavaram suas vestiduras e as alvejaram no sangue do Cordeiro.” (Apocalipse 7:14).

As chaves que Cristo põe nas mãos de Pedro são as chaves do conhecimento do que significa a Pessoa de Cristo, o que Jesus fará como o Cristo do Deus vivo para dar salvação a Israel e aos gentios. Mas, Pedro terá que aprender esse conhecimento com seu próprio sofrimento, decepção e decepção ao se conhecer a si mesmo como uma muito pequena pedra em contraste com a Rocha que é Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo, o que iria à cruz em seu lugar. Mas, Pedro não pôde receber estas chaves senão somente após a ressurreição de Jesus, no dia de Pentecostes.

Do mesmo modo, a cristologia Cristus Deo Crucis explica o que significa atar na terra e no céu e desatar na terra e no céu. Estando Cristo, como Messias, em sua Pessoa, unido, ligado a ir à cruz para dar sua vida em resgate por muitos, a pregação da cruz é aquilo mesmo que liga na terra e no céu. Ao mesmo tempo em que os que crêem no Cristo crucificado são atados com Cristo para vida eterna, da mesma maneira são desatados ou separados do poder da morte eterna sobre eles. “…o que ligares na terra terá sido ligado nos céus; e o que desligares na terra terá sido desligado nos céus”. Todo aquele que fique atado a Cristo, mediante a fé em seu sangue derramado na cruz, ficará unido a Cristo eternamente nos céus. Todo aquele que mediante a pregação do evangelho fique desatado da condenação do pecado, sua condenação nos céus também ficará separada. “Agora, pois, já nenhuma condenação há para os que estão em Cristo Jesus.” (Romanos 8:1).

De tal modo que a cristologia dual de Jesus Cristo tem uma dinâmica inteiramente Deo Crucis, pois “…sem derramamento de sangue, não há remissão” de pecados (Hebreus 9:22).

De outra maneira, a cristologia da natureza dual de Jesus presta-se para muita confusão, a mesma confusão que existe na igreja cristã hoje.

As igrejas que entendem a natureza de Jesus somente em sua natureza dual de pleno homem e pleno Deus sem entender a natureza Deo Crucis de Cristo, ensinam um plano de salvação fundamentado num misticismo no qual o ser humano se salva mediante a comunhão com esse ser divino. Esta pregação e ensino têm um são maravilhoso, e alucinante, atrativo. É como o canto das sereias. Nesta cristologia a salvação se obtém mediante a amizade com Cristo, mediante o alcance de uma inquebrantável comunhão com Deus, na qual o crente se compenetra na mesma natureza divina, a natureza humana do pecador fica presa com a natureza divina e, portanto, Deus pode confiar que o pecador pode ser salvo porque atingiu tão alto grau de compenetração com a divindade de Cristo. A final de contas quem dá a garantia é o pecador com seu misticismo no qual sua vontade se funde, amalgama-se, perde-se na vontade divina. Mas nesta cristologia não há sacrifício do Cordeiro de Deus que tira o pecado do mundo, não há derramamento de sangue para remissão de pecados. Deus não se apresenta em Cristo, o Filho de Deus, para dar sua vida em resgate pelo pecador. Nesta cristologia, as “melhores promessas” não são as do Cristo crucificado cumprindo o pacto em favor do pecador. Nesta cristologia as “melhores promessas” são as do devoto consagrado a se perder na imensurável Pessoa do Cristo humano-divino. Esta é uma cristologia muito atraente, muito hipnotizante e muito errada. Toda cristologia sem o sangue de Cristo é a de um falso Cristo, dada por falsos profetas. De fato, é a marca 666 do anticristo, pois em tudo pareceria apresentar-se um Cristo verdadeiro. Mas “Uma coisa lhe falta”: o “precioso sangue, como de cordeiro sem defeito e sem mácula, o sangue de Cristo” (1 Pedro 1:19). O apóstolo João, ensinou que “Nisto consiste o amor: não em que nós tenhamos amado a Deus, mas em que ele nos amou e enviou o seu Filho como propiciação pelos nossos pecados.” (1 João 4:10). Foi nesse contexto da propiciação por meio do sangue de Cristo, em que o mesmo apóstolo também advertiu:

1Amados, não deis crédito a qualquer espírito; antes, provai os espíritos se procedem de Deus, porque muitos falsos profetas têm saído pelo mundo fora. 2Nisto reconheceis o Espírito de Deus: todo espírito que confessa que Jesus Cristo veio em carne é de Deus; 3e todo espírito que não confessa a Jesus não procede de Deus; pelo contrário, este é o espírito do anticristo, a respeito do qual tendes ouvido que vem e, presentemente, já está no mundo.” (1 João 4:1-3).

É por isso que a cristologia tem que ser radical e categoricamente Deo crucis, a cristologia do Deus crucificado, para a salvação plena e eficaz do pecador!

É sobre este Cristo onde Deus estabelece, constrói e faz crescer sua igreja. Esta cristologia é a grande pedra onde Cristo fundamenta sua igreja. Tudo o mais são “Pedros”! E para muitos esta pedra fundamental é também a pedra de tropeço porque o sangue de Cristo é ofensa para o judaizante e loucura para os gentios.

A reação dos muitos “Pedros” da igreja cristã à cristologia Deo crucis é igual à de Pedro quando Cristo elucidou sua missão de ser o Cristo crucificado.

“E Pedro, chamando-o à parte, começou a reprová-lo, dizendo: Tem compaixão de ti, Senhor; isso de modo algum te acontecerá.” (Mateus 16:22).

De modo algum, Senhor! Dê-nos qualquer cristologia, menos a cristologia da cruz!” “Dê-nos a João o Batista, a Elias, a Jeremias, a Moisés, até a cristología da dupla natureza de Cristo, mas não nos ofenda com a idéia que se teve que derramar sangue divino para o perdão de nossos pecados!” “De modo algum, Senhor, que nos estejas a ensinar um modelo tão primitivo da expiação como o derramamento de sangue numa cruz”. “Tal ensino fica bem para a mente primitiva, mas para o homem moderno e pós-moderno é uma ofensa à sua sofisticação, educação, e inteligência!” “De modo algum, Senhor! Dê-nos a mensagem histórica de nossos pais, dê-nos crenças particulares que façam ressaltar nossos distintivos especiais, mas não nos dês a cristologia da cruz!” “Dê-nos profecias, línguas, dons espirituais, mas não faças questão da mensagem da cruz!”

Mas, para todos os que tropeçam com a cristologia da cruz, Cristo tem uma advertência e convite:

“Mas Jesus, voltando-se, disse a Pedro: Arreda, Satanás! Tu és para mim pedra de tropeço, porque não cogitas das coisas de Deus, e sim das dos homens.” (Mateus 16:23).

A palavra de Cristo para todas as demais cristologias é que se retirem e deixem de estorvar a obra de Cristo, o Messias de Deus, derramando seu sangue para o perdão de todo pecador. A obra de Satanás é precisamente opor-se à cruz, pois ali se quebrantou seu domínio de pecado. Na cruz, ao derramar seu sangue, o Cristo de Deus destituiu os poderes de Satanás “para que, por sua morte, destruísse aquele que tem o poder da morte, a saber, o diabo” (Hebreus 2:14). A vitalidade eterna do sangue de Cristo estava escrita na mesma lei de Moisés anunciando seu sacrifício, “Porque a vida da carne está no sangue. Eu vo-lo tenho dado sobre o altar, para fazer expiação pela vossa alma, porquanto é o sangue que fará expiação em virtude da vida.” (Levítico 17:11).

Esta é a cristologia SOLO CRISTUS DEO CRUCIS.

Todas as outras cristologias é pensar de acordo com os homens.

A cristologia Deo Crucis é pensar “nas coisas de Deus”, em que Seu Cristo, Seu Filho em quem ele tem complacência, é o Cordeiro imolado desde dantes da fundação do mundo.

Qual é o verdadeiro Cristo da igreja cristã? Solo Cristus Deo Crucis. A verdadeira igreja cristã não se define a partir de suas características, senão de seu Cristo. Se seu Cristo é o verdadeiro Cristo, será a igreja verdadeira. Se seu Cristo é um pseudo-Cristo, será uma pseudo-igreja. Afinal de contas, a pergunta “qual é a verdadeira igreja?” tem uma resposta centrada totalmente na pessoa de Cristo “e este crucificado” (1 Coríntios 2:2).

“pois surgirão falsos cristos e falsos profetas, operando sinais e prodígios, para enganar, se possível, os próprios eleitos.” (Marcos13:22).

Solo Cristus Deo Crucis. A revista trada do caso Davenport, que foi alguma coisa parecida com o caso Paulozi em São Paulo. — Conseguiu fazer um grande estrago na economia dos membros da igreja, poque os pastores deram todo o suporte. Mas, na California o golpe foi além dos 50 milhões de dólares.

Em seguida trata do pastor Desmond Ford que provou que a teoria do santuário de Ellen White não era bíblica.Mas, diz que tudo foi muito suave comparando com o que chama de BOMBA!

WHY DID ELLEN WHITE FREQUENTLY USE FREEMASONIC AND OCCULT TERMS?

Freemasons and occultists do at times use Bible terms, texts and expressions. But the Bible does not use Masonic and occult terminology neither would a prophet of God. Why is it then that Ellen White, the prophet of the Seventh Day Adventist church whose writings are supposedly inspired by God uses terms that you cannot find in the Bible but are used freely in both Freemasonry and the occult?

The following quotations with their highlighted terms show Ellen White’s conscious or unconscious connection with Freemasonry. William Miller who had been a Baptist was also a Freemason and that of the highest degree. There is no evidence that he ever saw any conflict between his Christian belief and his being a Freemason on the contrary. William Miller had been the instigator of the Millerite Movement which believed and declared that Jesus would come back in 1844. It was around the time of the Millerite movement that Freemasonry practically went underground because of antimasonic warfare. From the evidences that are now coming to light it appears that Masonic and occult ideas resurfaced clothed as an angel of light after the 1844 disappointment. Both the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Seventh Day Adventists appear to have Masonic roots. From the quotations found below it becomes clear that Mrs White and her husband James and others continued the work that William Miller had commenced. That there is a very definite connection is not only found in Mrs White’s writings and other Adventist Writings but can also be seen by the obelisk placed on the White burial plot and which had been placed there in Ellen White’s lifetime and with her knowledge.

MRS WHITE AND THE HOLY WATCHER

Ellen G. White: “The holy Watcher from heaven is present at this season (communion service) to make it one of soul searching, of conviction of sin, and of the blessed assurance of sins forgiven. Christ in the fullness of His grace is there to change the current of the thoughts that have been running in selfish channels. The Holy Spirit quickens the sensibilities of those who follow the example of their Lord.”Desire of Ages, page 650.

Ellen G. White: Every nation that has come upon the stage of action has been permitted to occupy its place on the earth, that it might be seen whether it would fulfil the purpose of “the Watcher and the Holy One.” Prophecy has traced the rise and fall of the world’s great empires–Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. With each of these, as with nations of less power, history repeated itself. Each had its period of test, each failed, its glory faded, its power departed, and its place was occupied by another.” – {Ed 176.4}

Ellen G. White: “That same Holy Watcher who says, “I know Abraham,” knew Cornelius also, and sent His angel with a message to the man who had received and improved all the light God had given him. The angel said, “Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter.” Then the specific directions are given, “He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do”” – (Acts 10:4-6). {2SM 217.1}

Ellen G. White: Though Cornelius believed the prophecies and was looking for the Messiah to come, he had not a knowledge of the gospel as revealed in the life and death of Christ. He was not a member of the Jewish church and would have been looked upon by the rabbis as a heathen and unclean. But the same Holy Watcher who said of Abraham, “I know him,” knew Cornelius also, and sent a message direct from heaven to him.” The Acts of the Apostles (1911), page 133, paragraph 2.

Comment: These words “Holy Watcher can be found only once in the Bible, in Daniel chapter 4. They are not found together but are used in the following way: “watcher and holy one”. The meaning of this word “watcher” is messenger of God, one who is a sentinel to guard and to watch. The Hebrew Lexicon says that it means: waking, watchful, wakeful one, watcher, angel. The words “holy one” are basically repeating that this “watcher” is an angel. When something has been repeated twice we can be certain that it is so.

Ellen White however uses this term for a member of the Godhead therefore bringing God down to a level of an angel. But is she really speaking about a member of the Godhead? Who is she actually speaking about?

WATCHERS is a term used by the occult, whether it be witches, satanists, or whatever. It is usually a picture or similar object that has one or more eyes on it. It is stuck or hung some place to act as a spy. For instance, someone hangs it on your house, or your church, or your office, or on a corner. Look at it like a hidden camera and microphone. The person comes back later to the WATCHER, and the demon in it tells the person all that it SAW and heard.

Charles Vail, a mason, writes The eye is the symbol of higher clairvoyance and the Master Mason always possessed this sight. It was always placed in all Egyptian Temples and represents the ancient never sleeping eye of God’, Masonic author J D Buck writes ‘about the all seeing eye that a real Master (of the Lodge) has the eye of Siva, active in him, the vibrations of his brain correspond to the synthesis of light and sound’.

One former witch and another Freemason comments To ‘open’ the eye a little bit is to experience psychic powers, To open the eye completely is to flood yourself with the pure consciousness of Lucifer himself’. (The eye is opened by the rituals of Freemasonry).”

MRS WHITE AND THE ALL-SEEING EYE

Ellen G. White: There is need of each one in every school and in every institution, being, as was Daniel, in such close connection with the Source of all wisdom, that his prayers will enable him to reach the highest standard of his duties in every line, that he may be able to fulfill his scholastic requirements not only under able teachers, but also under the supervision of heavenly intelligences, knowing that the All-seeing, the Ever-sleepless Eye was upon him. “Special Testimonies on Education,” October, 1893. {FE 230.2}

Ellen G. White: Many shepherds of the flock, who professed to love Jesus, said that they had no opposition to the preaching of Christ’s coming, but they objected to the definite time. God’s all-seeing eye read their hearts. They did not love Jesus near. They knew that their unchristian lives would not stand the test, for they were not walking in the humble path marked out by Him. These false shepherds stood in the way of the work of God. The truth spoken in its convincing power aroused the people, and like the jailer, they began to inquire, “What must I do to be saved?” But these shepherds stepped in between the truth and the people, and preached smooth things to lead them from the truth. They united with Satan and his angels, crying, “Peace, peace,” when there was no peace. Those who loved their ease and were content with their distance from God would not be aroused from their carnal security. I saw that angels of God marked it all; the garments of those unconsecrated shepherds were covered with the blood of souls.” {EW 233.2}

Ellen G. White: God’s all-seeing eye notes the defects of all and the ruling passion of each, yet He bears with our mistakes and pities our weakness. He bids His people cherish the same spirit of tenderness and forbearance. True Christians will not exult in exposing the faults and deficiencies of others. They will turn away from vileness and deformity, to fix the mind upon that which is attractive and lovely. To the Christian every act of faultfinding, every word of censure or condemnation, is painful.” – 5T 94-96255, Counsels for the Church (1991), page 177, paragraph 2.

Ellen G. White: “Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart”–the human heart, with its conflicting emotions of joy and sorrow; the wandering, wayward heart, which is the abode of so much impurity and deceit. 1 Samuel 16:7. He knows its motives, its very intents and purposes. Go to Him with your soul all stained as it is. Like the psalmist, throw its chambers open to the all-seeing eye, exclaiming, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23, 24. Ellen G. White: “There was a beautiful pink flower in the garden called the rose of Sharon. I remember approaching it and touching the delicate petals reverently; they seemed to possess a sacredness in my eyes. My heart overflowed with tenderness and love for these beautiful creations of God. I could see divine perfection in the flowers that adorned the earth. Ellen G. White: “I saw that before the work of God can make any decided progress, the ministers must be converted. Comment: Mrs White uses this term “ALL-SEEING EYE” 55 times. We have only shown two quotations here. This term cannot be found in the Bible. Only once do we find the single eye in connection with God but all the other times it is used in the plural, eyes. Those Founding Fathers who were Masons had knowledge of the Platonic concept of The Creator as Divine Architect of the Universe, and had access to and knowledge of such works as the mid-thirteenth-century Bible moralisee (which Benjamin Franklin is said to have seen while in France), and were familiar with other works such as the early fourteenth-century Holkham Bible, both of which depict the Supreme Being, compass in hand, walking through the heavens…………..

To this day, Freemasons use “The Great Architect of the Universe” and other non-sectarian titles to address the Deity. In using non-sectarian references to that which transcends all knowing, persons of different faiths may join together in prayer, concentrating on the Universal Spirit rather than on differences of culture and religion. Masonry has always championed religious freedom, and the idea that the relationship between the individual and one God is a personal, private and sacred matter.

Comment: Adventist literature tells us that William Miller had been a Deist. Sadly we were never told that it was Freemasons who were Deists.

Comment: Whose was the all-seeing eye? Gods? No!!!! The all-seeing eye belonged to the Great Architect of the Universe who is Satan the one who is represented by the darkness found in Genesis 1 and elsewhere in the Bible. And Freemasons used this symbol for him and they placed this symbol on the American Dollar bill. Now notice the following: That the USA government has been established under the Great Architect of the Universe. Remember that the second beast of Revelation 13 which we are told represents Protestant United States would have lamblike horns but would speak as a dragon? Now notice from the quotation above the two things that Satan demands: Submission to his will as revealed in Scriptures and the laws of nature.

Ellen G. White: “In the preparation of a people for the Lord’s second coming, a great work is to be accomplished through the promulgation of health principles. The people are to be instructed in regard to the needs of the physical organism and the value of healthful living as taught in the Scriptures, that the bodies which God has created may be presented to Him a living sacrifice, fitted to render Him acceptable service. There is a great work to be done for suffering humanity in relieving their sufferings by the use of the natural agencies that God has provided, and in teaching them how to prevent sickness by the regulation of the appetites and passions. The people should be taught that transgression of the laws of nature is transgression of the laws of God. They should be taught the truth in physical as well as in spiritual lines, that “the fear of the Lord tendeth to life.” Proverbs 19:23. “If thou wilt enter into life,” Christ says, “keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:17. Comment: Notice that Ellen says that the transgression of the law of nature is equally sinful as the transgression of the moral law of God. Notice that she mentions both the law of God together with the laws of nature. The very same ones as those the great Architect of the Universe (Satan) wants to use to establish his kingdom on earth commencing with the United States.

What does the Bible teach about the transgression of the laws of nature? Is it the transgression of the moral law of God?

1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

(Please note that I am a vegetarian and have no desire to change this and do believe that a meat diet these days is not the best. Also this word creature may refer to created foods rather than creatures but let me ask you a question: How successful would God’s missionaries have been throughout the centuries had they refused the food that was set before them by some of the hospitable heathen they were hoping to win to Christ?)

Did Jesus obey the law of nature when He missed his meals or ate at irregular times? Did Jesus obey the law of nature when He ate fish and meat? Did He obey the law of nature when He prayed all night? Did He obey the law of nature when He fasted forty days? By Mrs White’s standards Jesus must have been a terrible sinner. By applying this law to ourselves we who are vegetarians must therefore be better than Jesus Himself. And that is as Satan would have it.

How many churches do we know advocate both the law of the scriptures and the law of nature? I know of only one church. So who is and has been advancing the kingdom of the Great Architect of the Universe?

What name do the prophecies in the Book of Revelation give to something that would do this work? See Revelation 16:13.

No doubt more churches and denominations fall under this term because anyone who supposedly speaks for God but who in actual fact speaks for himself or God’s enemy is a false prophet. In order to keep God’s people in the dark and to prevent them from being ready for the end-time issues Satan has to replace the truth with something that is false. If Satan is behind the Adventist Movement then the interpretation of prophecy Adventists have been taught will of course not take place exactly like that. Therefore while the church members are forever waiting for something to take place they may I actual fact be receiving the mark of the beast and not even realize it!

By obeying a false prophet after we have see that she is a false prophet but we prefer to continue to believe her may very well constitute the mark of the beast since Ellen White appears to have been aiding the enemy in the setting up of the New World order. It is interesting to note also that the Jehova’s Witnesses who also sprung from the 1844 date setting movement are founded on Freemasonry and the Occult. Their magazine is called the Watchtower and their members are called Witnesses. Do the Jehovah’s Witnesses witness of Jesus? They cannot for they have stripped Him of His divinity. They claim to be Witnesses of Jehovah but can they witness of Him without acknowledging His Son? So whose witnesses are they and what does this word Watchtower refer to?

Jesus says in Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Comment: The Bible does not call us channels. It says that we are to let our light shine. We have that light. We are not channels of that light. This word channels is a spiritualistic term and is another word for medium.

Christ… is the ladder. The base is planted firmly on the earth in His humanity; the topmost round reaches to the throne of God in His divinity. The humanity of Christ embraces fallen humanity, while His divinity lays hold upon the throne of God. We are saved by climbing round after round of the ladder, looking to Christ, clinging to Christ, mounting step by step to the height of Christ, so that He is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity are the rounds of this ladder. Theosophical society: Such was the nature of the “Wisdom” that a Gnostic like Paul, Epopt and perfect, spoke amongst the perfected; and it would have been useless to have spoken such among A-Gnostics who were of the fleshly faith. This was the mystical Christ who came BY and AS the Holy Spirit; so Jesus is transformed into the Christ when the Holy Spirit descends upon him in his Baptism! But, after this transformation, it is said in the same Gospel that the Holy Spirit was not yet extant (or communicated), because Jesus was not yet glorified. To the genuine Gnostics this holy spirit always had been extant; but here we see its very existence made altogether dependent upon the personality and death of Jesus in the process of re-dating it and making him the author of it historically. Barnabas knew better. He identifies the Christ with the Man of the eighth Soul, who rose again on the Eighth Day of Creation!

Here the height was synonymous, and is identical, with the number eight! This height is represented in the Buddhist, Gnostic, and Mithraic mysteries by a ladder with eight steps, the eighth, or height, being the top of attainment, the place of the perfected; and so the octave was completed at last in Buddha-hood, in Elijah-hood, in Christ-hood, or the divine man-hood, of the pre-Christian religions; such likewise being the natural genesis of the eight ways and eight paths of Buddhism.The Gnostics said salvation was brought by the Ogdoad; and the Saviour personified was the mystical Octavius: the superior man of the eighth creation!…………….

……………..In the present instance, I suggest or claim that the Cæsar as well as the Ra, the Repa, the Buddha, or the Christ, was a titular representative of the eighth, the total and eternal soul — mythically the re-born Sun; mystically the re-born Spirit or glorified Ghost of Man.

Comment: So where does the mystical ladder lead to and who is the originator? It leads to the re-born Sun, and the glorified ghost of man. We could say to man or even Satan worship. And Satan is therefore the originator of this ladder and this system of climbing up to heaven by the true force of the will. By the way, one does not always find eight rounds to this ladder. Often it contains only seven rounds. But this ladder is in essence the same.

Please notice that Peter does not call it a ladder. The only thing that come close to what Ellen White says are the words: Add to. But you can add to something immediately. It does not have to be a long drawn out process. Peter also says that if these things are in us and abound then we would not be unfruitful. Peter actually rebukes those who only have a few of these graces. He says that if we do not have them then we have forgotten that we were purged from our old sins and that we are shortsighted, even blind. So once again, the very text Ellen White used to prove one thing actually rebukes her and her followers. See 2 Peter 1:5-10.

Speaking of full membership in the Church, Pius XII, in his Encyclical on the Mystical Body, said it is the society of those who have been baptized, and who profess the faith of Christ, and who are governed by their bishops under the visible head, the Pope, the Bishop of Rome.

The Church came into being when Christ died on the Cross, but it was formally inaugurated on Pentecost, when He sent the Holy Spirit as He had promised. St. Paul speaks of all Christians as members of Christ, so that with Him, they form one Mystical Body (Cf. 1 Cor 12:12-31; Col 1:18; 2:18-20; Eph. 1:22-23; 3:19; 4:13). St. Paul did not use the word Mystical. It was developed more recently to bring out the fact that this union is unique, there is no parallel to it. It is not the same as the union of a physical body, nor that of a business corporation.

The Church, the Mystical Body, exists on this earth, and is called the Church militant, because its members struggle against the world, the flesh and the devil. The Church suffering means the souls in Purgatory. The Church triumphant is the Church in heaven. The unity and cooperation of the members of the Church on earth, in Purgatory, in Heaven is also called the Communion of Saints. When St. Paul uses the word “Saints” in opening an Epistle, he does not mean they are morally perfect. He has in mind Hebrew qadosh, which means set aside for God, or coming under the covenant. Being such means of course they are called to moral perfection. But of course, not all have reached it in this world.

The word “Saint” in the modern sense means someone who has been canonized by the Church in recent times, or was accepted as such by the Church in earlier times. If a person is shown to have practiced heroic virtue–beyond what people in general do – in all virtues, the title “Venerable” is given; with two miracles by that one’s intercession, the title is “Blessed”; two more miracles can lead to canonization and the title of Saint.

Advice to Dominical monks: The Dominican puts on Christ by imitating him. A great actor most successfully portrays an historical character when he studies his photographs, his mannerisms, the most minute details of his life, and especially his spirit. An actor who has done this, especially if he has been playing his role for an extended run, tends unconsciously to imitate the character he portrays. If such close imitation can be effected in the case of a fellow man, a religious can more easily do the same with the life of Jesus Christ, a member of the Mystical Body sharing Christ’s divine life. We admonish the brethren to observe silence even in small houses, especially at table, not only because it is prescribed and is an easy means of mortification for all, but especially because it is altogether necessary for a contemplative life and the study of sacred truth.

Comment: You cannot find these terms the mystical body of Christ or the church militant or triumphant in the Bible. Could it be that Catholicism and Adventism are two sides of the same coin?

Ellen G. White: “Heaven, I long for heaven; Christ is the center of attraction. Our future state is a continuation of our work in coming to God in probationary time. Heaven is the ceaseless approaching to God through Jesus Christ. The eternal weight of glory is not taken in all at once, but it pours its tide, wave after wave, of glory into the mind and heart. With practice I became better at producing the vibrations. I noticed that just before the vibrations came I was always “zapped” into a state of acute alertness. Sometimes it seemed as if my consciousness was focussed into an oval disk at my body’s face. But every time the vibrations would slowly fade until I was back to normal again. When I opened my eyes, they were cloudy but slowly cleared up. My body felt very heavy and stiff. My hands were stiff and hard to open. Sometimes I was also slightly dizzy after the experiment.

Comment: This person practiced out of the body experiences. Notice the waves or vibrations then the stiffness of body. In other places Ellen White said that she noticed everything being so dark after her visions. This is close to what this person experienced.

Comment: The Bible uses the word Lesser light and greater light only once, for the moon and the sun in the creation story. So who uses these terms lesser and greater light regularly and where does the lesser light lead us?

Now the fact is that the candidate can only see the three greater Lights by the help of the three lesser ones. In other words the lesser triad is the instrument by which he beholds the greater one; it is his own perceptive faculty (subject) looking out upon something larger (object) with which it is not yet identified, just as so small a thing as the eye can behold the expanse of the heavens and the finite mind can contemplate infinitude.

To each of us also from our birth have been given three lesser lights, by means of which the lodge within ourselves may be illumined. The Sun symbolizes our spiritual consciousness (the higher aspirations and emotions of the soul), while the Moon betokens our reasoning and intellectual faculties, which in the same manner as the moon reflects the light of the sun in physical nature, should reflect the light coming from the higher spiritual faculty and transmit it into our daily conduct. The Master of the Lodge is a symbolical phrase denoting the will-power of man, which should enable him to be master of his own life, and control his actions, even as the stroke of the Masters gavel controls the Lodge and calls to order the Brethren under his direction. By the assistance of these lesser lights, we are enabled to perceive what is, symbolically, called the form of the Lodge, i.e. the way in which our human nature has been composed and constituted, the length, breadth, height and depth of our being. By them too, we may perceive how Wisdom, Strength and Beauty have been employed by the Almighty Architect, like three grand supporting pillars, in the structure of our organism. Finally, with the aid of the lesser lights we may discover that there is a mystical ladder of many rounds or staves or, alternatively, that there are innumerable path or methods by means of which men are led upwards to the spiritual Light encircling us all,

Comment: Is not Ellen White or her writings a lesser light that leads to the greater light? Does she not teach us about the ladder of many rounds and that we are to climb to the top? This spiritual light TO WHICH THE LADDER IS LEADING is not God but the light of the GREAT ARCHITECT OF THE UNIVERSE whom Freemasons worship. He is known as Lucifer and therefore Satan himself who is working through them to take hold of the throne of the world. Please note that Freemasons often attach different meanings to their symbols in order to keep those they are teaching in the dark concerning their true intent. The words lesser lights and greater lights are frequently used in their writings with different or plural meanings.

Please notice above also that the master of the Lodge denotes the will-power of man. The following is taken from The Consecrated Way, a sanctuary manual used by SDA’s.

The WILL is the real you. Where is your will? Your feeling is not the real you but a reflection of sin in you. …The fight of faith is a fight of the WILL. Page 7.

You may believe and promise all things, but your promises and your faith are of no account until you put your will on the right side. ELLEN G. WHITE’S DREAM OF SEEING JESUS

Ellen G. White: “Soon after this I had another dream. I seemed to be sitting in abject despair, with my face in my hands, reflecting like this: If Jesus were upon earth, I would go to Him, throw myself at His feet, and tell Him all my sufferings. He would not turn away from me; He would have mercy upon me, and I would love and serve Him always. Just then the door opened, and a person of beautiful form and countenance entered. He looked upon me pitifully, and said: “Do you wish to see Jesus? He is here, and you can see Him if you desire it. Take everything you possess, and follow me.” I heard this with unspeakable joy, and gladly gathered up all my little possessions, every treasured trinket, and followed my guide. He led me to a steep and apparently frail stairway. As I began to ascend the steps, he cautioned me to keep my eyes fixed upward, lest I should grow dizzy and fall. Many others who were climbing the steep ascent fell before gaining the top.

Finally we reached the last step, and stood before a door. Here my guide directed me to leave all the things that I had brought with me. I cheerfully laid them down. He then opened the door, and bade me enter. In a moment I stood before Jesus. There was no mistaking that beautiful countenance; that expression of benevolence and majesty could belong to no other. As His gaze rested upon me, I knew at once that He was acquainted with every circumstance of my life and all my inner thoughts and feelings.

“I tried to shield myself from His gaze, feeling unable to endure His searching eyes; but He drew near with a smile, and laying His hand upon my head, said, “Fear not.” The sound of His sweet voice thrilled my heart with a happiness it had never before experienced. I was too joyful to utter a word, but, overcome with emotion, sank prostrate at His feet. While I was lying helpless there, scenes of beauty and glory passed before me, and I seemed to have reached the safety and peace of heaven. At length my strength returned, and I arose. The loving eyes of Jesus were still upon me, and His smile filled my soul with gladness. His presence awoke in me a holy reverence and an inexpressible love. My guide now opened the door, and we both passed out. He bade me take up again all the things I had left without. This done, he handed me a green cord coiled up closely. This he directed me to place next my heart, and when I wished to see Jesus, take it from my bosom, and stretch it to the utmost. He cautioned me not to let it remain coiled for any length of time, lest it should become knotted and difficult to straighten. I say secret because her guide must have closed the door behind Ellen and himself since he later opened that door before Ellen could go back down again. So then what does this coiled green cord represent? And why was Ellen given this cord? What was she to do with it?

-The Seven Chakras-

Chakras are like the non-physical organs. Physical simply means that a material is on a wavelength that is dense enough for us to perceive. (Other categories of density are astral, etheric, mental. Prana being an etheric substance.) Chakras are like organs in our energy flow. Sort of like the heart in our blood flow. There is an entire energy flow in our body, even though we can’t see it.

The chakras support our body with energy. Chakras, meaning ‘wheel’ in Sanskrit language, spin. This movement is rather the intensity of the chakra’s strength. The stronger this intensity, the brighter and stronger the chakra. Chakras together support the energy flow.

The most reverential of cultures towards snakes were the Aztecs of pre-Columbia. One of their principal gods was the Feathered Serpent, Quetzalcoatl. One of the most enigmatic and fascinating figures in ancient religion and mythology, Quetzalcoatl was most often portrayed as a green serpent with a feather-crested head, similar in many ways to the Chinese dragon. He came to represent water, rain, the wind, human sustenance, penitent, self-sacrifice, re-birth, the morning star of Venus and butterflies. Once satisfied, Quetzalcoatl was said to have sailed into the West on a raft of serpents, with the promise that he would one day return.

Kundalini, which means the coiled one, is the invisible holy energy that yogis believe resides at the base of our spines, coiled just like a snake in the equally invisible energy center (chakra) called Muladhar, close to the coccyx.

Comment: Please note that even among those who are into spiritualistic practices that there are slight differences of opinions. The coiled snake supposedly resides in the base of our spine but as it is meant to travel upwards to our minds it will at some stage of course reside in the heart region. Notice also that there is a number seven employed here. The seven or eight rounds of the ladder basically represent the seven shakrahs of the body.

Notice that Satan can nearly always find access and take control over mankind by means of the senses, especially through sexuality. In the Old Testament Satan could not curse God’s people but he managed to get them destroyed by introducing wicked women into the camp of the Israelites. Commencing with the lower regions, symbol of the senses, Satan gains access to the central or heart region which represents man’s soul (inner feelings and thoughts). If he can control man from this point he can reign also over man’s spirit which is supposed to connect with God. Satan’s aim is to thus harness man’s power in the battle against Christ and heaven. Think back now on Ellen White’s frequent use of the term the “true force” of the will. Separate “true force” from the will compare it with the invisible holy energy mentioned above. Another name of this force is Kundalini.

Yogis believe that no spiritual knowledge and final liberation (nirvana) is possible without awakening this Kundalini energy.

When awakened through long years of hatha-yoga, meditation, prayers and grace, Kundalini allegedly rises along the shusumna, the non-physical energy channel that parallels the human spine, and shoots up towards the brain.

Along the way, Kundalini supposedly pierces through (according to the classical description in yogic texts) the seven chakras until it reaches the one on the top of the skull the Crown Chakra.

Ive witnessed scary cases where I couldnt tell if the person was on his way to getting liberated and illuminated, or to the nearest mental asylum.

One early author, Gopi Krishna, whose Kundalini was awakened pretty much accidentally, wrote in great length about the agonies he went through for years to control the fire that was consuming him nonstop day and night.

Thus you should be very careful before you make any attempts to awaken your Kundalini on your own. I dont think there are too many people in the world who really know the exact nature of this process and things can go wrong suddenly, sometimes without a remedy or a cure.

Comment: As you can see from the above, meddling with this energy that is supposedly within the human being, or within devils or wherever this power comes from, is extremely dangerous and will end with disastrous results for everyone. My Bible says the following about the disastrous result of this very same phenomena: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:11. Notice that smoke is always the result of a fire. People will go through agonies because of this fire that will consume them nonstop day and night!!!!! The Bible uses the symbol of fire for false worship or religious practices.

It looks like we do not need to take part in the eastern mystical religions or in spiritualism in order to release this terrible power. Those who continue to believe and promote Ellen G. White: as a prophet of God after they have seen the origins of her writings will end up being tormented by evil spirits day and night! It will be the logical outcome of placing ourselves under the control of an evil spirit who inspired her writings.

We have to conclude that Ellen White was a medium the devil has been and is deceiving millions of honest souls. Faith in her as a prophet of God and reading and accepting her writings has caused them to fall into a spiritual sleep regardless of how much they pray or study the Word of God at the same time. The essence of beast worship is the acceptance of man-made doctrines. By accepting doctrines of devils we are effectively worshipping the dragon. See Revelation 13:3-4.

OTHER EVIDENCES OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE CRAFT OF REEMASONRY IN ADVENTISM:

After the disappointment of 1844, Israel Dammon who had been in one of the earliest meetings of Adventists was apprehended for being a disturber of the peace and sentenced to 10 days in a house of correction. But he never went to jail because a Freemason bailed him out.

Here follows another incident with regards to a Mr Faulkhead a Seventh Day Adventist who himself said he had been the highest positions in several Freemasonry Lodges.

She spoke most earnestly of the dangers of his connection with Freemasonry, warning that “unless he severed every tie that bound him to these associations, he would lose his soul.” She repeated to him words spoken by her guide. Then, giving a certain movement with her hands that was made by her guide, she said, “I cannot relate all that was given to me.” – Letter 46, 1892. {4BIO 52.2}

At this, Faulkhead started and turned pale. Recounting the incident, he wrote: {4BIO 52.3} “Immediately she gave me this sign. I touched her on the shoulder and asked her if she knew what she had done. She looked up surprised and said she did not do anything unusual. I told her that she had given me the sign of a Knight Templar. Well, she did not know anything about it.”DF 522a, N. D.

“They talked on. She spoke further of Freemasonry and the impossibility of a man being a Freemason and a wholehearted Christian. Again she made a certain movement, which “my attending angel made to me.”(MS 54, 1899). {4BIO 52.5}

Again Mr. Faulkhead started, and the blood left his face. A second time she had made a secret sign, one known only to the highest order of Masons. Eu poderia estar errado, mas parece ser alguma coisa seriamente sacrílega a tradução da Bíblia sob o nome de CLEAR WORD (publicada pelos adventistas do sétimo dia); trata-se de uma tradução produzida por Jack J. Blanco (publicada em primeira edição em 1994), tal bíblia foi impressa e distribuída pela publicadora Review and Herald Publishing Association, , situada na 55 West Oak Ridge Drive, Hagerstowm MD 21740. ISBN 0-8280-0858-

Talvez nossos irmãos da IASD venham a dizer que essa tradução não é oficial, mas note as credenciais do tradutor:- J. Blanco é Catedrático de religião do Southern College (Uma instituição dos adventistas do sétimo dia perto de Chanatoga, Teneeessee); O prefácio inclui um testemunho de Robert S. Folkenberg, presidente da Associação Geral dos Adventistas do Sétimo Dia, e de Malcom D. Gordon, presidente da União Sul dos Adventistas nos EUA.
